Ifad Autos PLC, a leading automotive distributor, and Ashok Leyland, an Indian vehicle manufacturer, have jointly launched 'Leo,' a 1-ton power pickup, in the market. The launching ceremony was held at the Gulshan Shooting Club in Dhaka recently, says a statement.

In a joint effort, Bangladesh's automotive distributor Ifad Autos PLC and India's vehicle manufacturer Ashok Leyland have introduced the 1-ton power pickup, Leo, in the market.

A grand inauguration ceremony was held at Gulshan Shooting Club on 23 January.

The event was attended by prominent figures, including Ifad Group Vice Chairmen Tanveer Ahmed, Group Managing Director Reazul Haque Chowdhury, Ifad Autos COO Amir Daud, Ashok Leyland's International Operations Head Rajesh R and senior officials from various leading business organisations.

The Leo pickup features state-of-the-art amenities. It is equipped with a powerful Japanese technology engine, power steering, 14-inch tyres ensuring high ground clearance, and an 8-foot 2-inch large load body capable of efficiently transporting over 1,015 kilograms of goods across all types of roads.

During the event, it was highlighted that the Leo pickup offers international-grade cabin design, comfortable driving space, and a robust chassis to ensure fatigue-free journeys.
