Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) has awarded mobile financial services provider bKash, Square Pharma, Walton and Fabric Lagbe the 'Excellence in Investment Award-2025' for their significant contribution to the country's economy by attracting foreign direct investment.
At the Bangladesh Investment Summit 2025, Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus handed over the awards.
BIDA Executive Chairman Ashik Chowdhury and Chief Adviser's Special Envoy on International Affairs Lutfey Siddiqi were also present on the occasion.
bKash founder and CEO Kamal Quadir received the award on behalf of his company.
