Dhaka stocks gained for the third consecutive day on Monday, driven by investors who maintained their buying activity fuelled by their pursuit of quick gains in sector-specific issues, taking advantage of the recent market corrections, said market operators.

They said the turnover increased slightly, but the investor sentiment remained subdued on the trading floor, with cautious investors expressing concerns about the market’s prospects due to ongoing macroeconomic and political uncertainties.
