India captain Rohit Gurunath Sharma sent Nepal to bat first though winning the toss in Pallekele.

India have won the toss and they have opted to bowl first. Both teams have made one change in their playing XI from their last respective matches against Pakistan. Former India fast bowler Javagal Srinath is officiating in his 250th ODI as match referee.

For India Jasprit Bumrah, who has gone home for the birth of his child, is replaced by Mohammed Shami. Meanwhile, in Nepal’s playing XI Bhim Sharki has replaced Aarif Sheikh.
