Confirming the death of his dear friend to the media, Nishat’s friend Mohammad Hridoy said, “Nishat suddenly contracted dengue fever four days ago. In the beginning, even after receiving the first aid, she had to be hospitalized. Her platelet-level decreased. However, within a day, Nishat’s platelet-level started increasing again.”

Hridoy also said that Nishat came home from the hospital after feeling a little better. She talked to me regularly. We also talked on Wednesday night.

“Nishat did not give importance to her fever. She said she would be fine, thought she would be cured by taking medicine,” Nishat’s friend added. “However, in the afternoon, I came to know that Nishat died. She still had the story on Facebook. I couldn’t believe it.”

It is learned that actress Nishat was an HSC candidate. Even two days ago, she was smiling and dreaming of living. Nishat wanted to get well and hang out with her friends.

Nishat Ara Alvida grew up in the Natore district of North Bengal. From there, she completed her SSC and got admitted to a college in Natore. Later, she moved to the capital Dhaka. Nishat lived with her mother in Dhaka. After coming to Dhaka, she wanted to do something herself. Nishat was determined to become an actress.

Nishat’s friend Hridoy told the media that “Nishat liked acting as a career. She tried to become an actress. She often says – one day I will become a model, I will become a big star, I will become a very big actress. She had many dreams of acting and wanted to learn theater acting”.

Nishat Ara Alvida’s body was taken to Natore on Thursday. She was buried in a cemetery there.
