Small-screen renowned actor Chashi Alam, also known as ‘Habu Bhai’ from the popular drama serial ‘Bachelor Point’, says that he will spend on an orphanage instead of organizing a wedding reception.

The actor recently got married in a family arrangement. After that, he told the press that “he does not wish any big event for now. Rather, he wants to donate money spent to the orphanage instead of holding a wedding reception”.

“I have many well-wishers, many friends. There are also many people in Tultul’s family. If I go to a big event, many may be left out intentionally or unconsciously. This is why, I don’t want this. I will give the money which was supposed to be spent on my reception to the orphanage. There is nothing to do if my friends are upset here,” said Chashi Alam.

However, ‘Habu Bhai’ says he wants to provide at least three days’ worth of food, not by organizing a single meal for the orphans.

In his words, “I am not willing to provide a single meal. I will feed them well. I will pay the expenses of three days in an orphanage. I will provide food to four or five orphanages. Apart from that, I will buy some daily necessities there – so that they can use them for a long time.”

“I have already found an orphanage, which is located at Birulia in Savar. The orphanage is for girls. Women’s orphanages are not usually seen in our neighborhood. So, my wish is to give expenses there,” Chashi Alam said.

Chashi Alam’s wife Tultul is happy with such a decision from her husband. She said, “He (Chashi Alam) told me, I want to do it. Then I said, Alhamdulillah. It’s definitely a good work. You can do it.”

Noted that Chashi Alam and Tultul got married last Friday in a family arrangement. The actor’s wife’s nickname is Mohona. She lives with her family in Badda in the capital. Tultul is the youngest of two sisters and one brother. She completed her BBA from a private university last year.
